Welcome, we’ve been praying for you and your children. At Story Church we believe that children aren’t the next generation of the church, they are part of the church today. We’ve designed our Story Kids ministry around that premise, that Jesus loves children and invites them to be part of His Story too. 

Check-In

All children who will participate in a ministry of Story Kids must be checked in to our secure system. On your first visit, please try to arrive 10 minutes before the service begins so our Check-In Volunteers at our Story Kids table outside the nursery can register your children and answer any questions you may have. 

Nursery

For children from birth through age three, we have our nursery available. The nursery opens 10 minutes before the service begins (8:50), and is available for the entirety of the worship service. In the nursery, children will experience the welcome of Jesus through caring volunteers who demonstrate God’s love and teach them God’s word through age appropriate books, songs, and play. 

A diaper changing station is also available for parent use in the nursery.

Children’s Church

For children between the ages of 4 and 8, we offer Children’s Church during the sermon portion of the worship service. Because we believe children are part of the church now, we encourage their participation in the service alongside their families as much as possible. However, we also want to provide children with age-appropriate teaching and activities during the sermon portion of the service. Children’s Church participants will be dismissed from the worship service with a blessing given by the congregation, and will be brought back to their parents before the Lord’s Supper. 

Worship Bags

To help children of all ages who are in the service be able to participate and engage with the elements of worship, we offer worship bags containing coloring supplies and activity sheets outside the theater space.
